Poppy loves spending time at her mum’s allotment and the tangle of wild woodland behind it. They regularly see foxes and hedgehogs, but one special evening, just as they are about to head home, they spot a young badger. It’s the first time Poppy has ever seen one in real life, and she’s entranced.
